MATERIALS LIST

The studio lessons in this course can be accomplished with any art supplies you have or you would love to try.  I have kept it pretty simple and affordable with watercolor, acrylic, india ink, caran d’ache, Posca paint pens, Uniball gel pens, watercolor paper, and canvas paper.

Art supplies can get expensive so only buy what you really want at first and if you’re hooked and want to invest more as you go, you can!

If using paint- gather acrylics, craft paint, or a combination of both. I like to have white, black, red, yellow, blue at the very least.  If you can- buy green, purple, orange, and beyond- you’ll have less mixing time and more painting time! Maybe you only want to use watercolor or maybe you practice with gouache- anything goes!

Any surfaces will do! Affordable canvas or canvas boards work well with acrylic.  Wood panels or Ampersand Aquaboards or Gesso boards are nice and firm. Nicer surfaces can get pricey fast so I only use watercolor paper and canvas paper for the studio sessions in this course.
